Instagram post strategies to fit your schedule

The age-old question, do I need to post on Instagram every single day to grow? As much as I’d LOVE to give you the exact formula to follow for IG success, it just doesn’t work that way.

As a content creator, I have spent time evaluating post strategies for myself and my clients and have learned some key lessons.

The first lesson I ALWAYS tell people is to start small. I can assure you that if you go into marketing your business on Instagram by trying to post every day, you WILL burn out, become frustrated, and hate Instagram. Start by posting two or three days a week and, once you have mastered that, try adding something new into the mix.

Another fact many people forget is that Reels and Carousels are NOT the only mediums that count as posting. Many influencers use Instagram Stories as their main post medium, with a few feed posts sprinkled in when their mood strikes. Instagram Stories can be a great way to have quick, unedited content posted on a regular basis.

The moral of the story is that you have options. Mix up the media types you are posting, and you may just surprise yourself with how often you are able to publish content.

Now to the good stuff… I’ve created three different publishing schedules you can try out and see what works for you. It’s important to note that every audience and creator is different so pick one of these, try it out for a month, and see what works for you.
